“Health Literacy Tote Bags”
A wealth of free information in the form of “Health Literacy Tote Bags” is now available to be
borrowed from the office of the Chester Senior Resource Center located in the lower floor of the
Church of the Messiah on Rte. 24 in Chester N.J.
Donated by the Overlook Medical Center, the bags contain medical information in the form of
books, CDs, DVDs, and pamphlets which can help local residents to understand and take control
of their health issues.
Fall and Injury Prevention
Opioid and Substance Abuse
Besides the items to be returned, borrowers may keep the valuable pamphlets included in the
totes. People who check out items will find that many of their specific health related questions will be
answered without having to dig through the mounds of information found in libraries and on-
line. To schedule a time to pick up a bag at the Senior Resource Center please call the director,
Martha Toledo, at (908) 879-2202. SRC hours are: Mondays 9:30 – 4:30, Tuesdays 9:30 – 4:30
and Thursdays 12:30 – 4:30.
